BIO

Trained in fine art, theatre and design, my career began in VFX, motion graphics and post production. I am super thankful for this pathway which has led to where I'm at today as a Cinematographer. My passion is in collaborating with Directors to create images that transport audiences into their story worlds.

Leading to this point, I've held key creative positions with Cutting Edge, Defence, Mazda Australia (running the national film unit in Melbourne) and The Australian Communications and Media Authority and lectured in design/animation at The Queensland College of Art as well as numerous short courses at The Australian Film Television and Radio School in Sydney.

I am the co-founder and Creative Director at TEN ALPHAS and TEN ALPHAS FILMS. We create beautiful short form content along with an increasing slate of original work. We recently produced a 34 minute drama called Mate which won top prize at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (Festival international du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand). 

I was creative director and animator on Blockhead and Sparkles and the Flood of Tears. Featuring hand-drawn oil pastels by acclaimed artist Digby Webster, this animated short film celebrates neurodiversity as it follows two friends with unique gifts. Directed by Lauren Orrell, Digby Webster. This film premiered at Sydney Film Festival 2021.

In 2024 I won an AACTA award for Best Short Film, for Finding Addison, for which I was EP and Cinematographer.

I have degrees in theatre/fine art, digital design (1st class hons) and completed the Masters in Screen Arts and Business at the Australian Film Television and Radio School.

I am a full member of Australian Cinematographers Society (ACS) and Screen Producers Australia
